It becomes legal once you pay $500 min usually for an engineer to say it is. Im not saying you are asking too much, im saying its a lot for a beam,
and you gotta find someone who wants it, and is prepared to pay for it like you were... not easy.
Did you end up getting yours from the US Kroozzn62?

First off I can read, am not a f**kwit and have been through the process of legally fitting a modified beam, built by the same person as yours...
It is NOT the part that is 'engineered'. It is the car, once all the modified components have proven to meet ADR standards. You may have the test
report etc, but that means nothing until an engineer is satisfied with it, and then signs off the car with the parts.
I am going on how we had to do it in Vic, maybe your laws are different depending on which side of the river you register your cars...
And with the beam I fitted, we got papers to say the beam was welded by a certified welder, not a test report.
I will keep the rest of my comments to myself, all the best with the sale!

I tend to agree with ornge 666, as no engineers cert can be issued without a chassis no for it to correspond with.

i assume I'm also one of the F Wits you are referring to. I was just suggesting that even a slight drop from retail price might inspire a buyer. Not
saying it's not worth 4000+ because I know it is. Great beam with all the good bits, and someone will be very happy with it.
