My new ride. (NEW wheels and stuff pics)
1965 Ragtop....
I bought this little baby off e-bay.
It was advertised on here for a while too.
I drove it back to Hobart from Sydney over the weekend.
Before I left Sydney though it received a little suspension surgery in the form of a lowered and narrowed front beam from the guys at CBB in
Penrith.
It drove home no worries, I sat on 110km/h all the way!
It runs a sweet 1600 single port that runs great!
Plans are for a bit of a tidy up, fix a couple of minor rust areas and find a nice set of wheels.
I've always wanted a raggie!:P

What a beaut. Great colour and stance. Are those white stripes etched or no? Another nice one goes to Tassie.
Well done matee. You've done it again.

Thanks buddy. The back wheels have flaps but the front rims are on loan from my 59, hence the different colour. It was missing one front flap when I
got it and it spat another front one down the Hume freeway!!
It's only temporary until I get the wheels situation sorted.....

I don't mind the rims but they aren't the look I'm after.
The beam is 2" narrowed.
It is sea blue too!

I've made a few changes, got rid of the venetian. Fitted my DAS badge to the rear vents (thanks Brad). Fitted a set of mesh stone guards to the
headlights. SWF km/h speedo......
Next it's time to bin the rear seat etc....
Wheels, I need wheels!!!!
I'm chasing some genuine period jobbies, no wonder people go repro!!
I won't say what they are until I know I got 'em for sure.....
Anyone got a period wood rim steering wheel??
Les Leston , Speedwell etc.....
