Hey guys,
Tryin 2 clean out the fuel tank in my hilux. What can i use to flush it out with? Just fuel? Also the tank is still on the car as i cant get it off.
Have taken the bung out so yea it can all drain that way.

Metho would be good to use. If there is any moisture in there it will remove that too.

i use a few litres of metho and a handfull of washers or nuts or failing that some blue metal (marble size or bigger)
obviously this will only work if u can get the fuel tank out
if u cant back the only other method i've seen was steam cleaning the inside for about 24hours
but that was done from a hugeass boiler
