I don't know if the font is smaller DakDat, but I find it hard to read black text on a dark background. I think a white text area would be easier
on the old eyes. |

You can easily choose the old theme if you think the fonts are smaller.
But I reckon it'll be easier if you use 1024x768 and then use your browser's "text size" feature - make it "Largest".
The forum uses "%" not absolute pixels to determine what is displayed, so it'll come out fine.

On the opening page there is a "your personal features"
Click on "control panel / options"
Click on "edit profile"
For Theme select "mactastic"
that is white on grey - very easy on the eyes.
Have a read of the top post - "New Themes"
