Sword wielding robber nabbed in Perth
Friday Oct 20 12:32 AEST
A robber wielding an ornamental sword returned to the service station he had allegedly just held up when he realised he had left his haul behind,
police say.
The 20-year-old man approached an attendant at a service station in South Perth about 1.30am (WST) Friday and allegedly demanded money and
cigarettes.
The attendant took money from the till and packets of cigarettes and placed them in a bag.
The offender fled on foot across the Canning Highway before realising he had left the bag in the service station.
Police say he returned to find the door locked and pleaded with the attendant to let him back in for his booty.
The attendant refused so the offender fled again.
Police caught up with him several streets away, allegedly still wielding his sword.
The man held up the same service station on August 17, police believe.
He was charged with two counts of armed robbery and will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday.

Ask any policeman. If they weren't idots they would catch fewer of them. Even with CSI type TV shows showing us how not to commit crimes, their
idiocy still catches them out.
They are stupid and the tragedy of stupidity is that it is inate. People are born stupid. No amount of legislation, education or money will ever solve
the problem of human stupidity.

A mate of mine works as a chaplain in a juvenile offender centre. he used to be a cop.
he was telling me this story...
young feller living out near windsor. he was bored one night so he broke into a house and stole some car keys and then a car. the bloke who he stole
them off chased him down on a motorbike till the bike ran out of fuel.
young feller then drove into richmond, came round a corner and the stolen car ran out of fuel. he pulled it over to the side of the road and turn the
ignition off. a couple of cops pulled up behind him to see if he was ok. they got out and came up to him and said,
"is this your car?"
he said, "no"
:duh
What hope have they got when they're that dumb to begin with.
