i guess you gotta start somewhere!! wen i was in uk i was offered an early 911, quite rusty but no motor or box, £400, about $900, it was for "free" but the price of restoration was just too much, a gear box would cost more than i was paying for the whole car, so i let it go, i couldnt afford it, i was later offered a 914 with serious front end damage, the price was right but getting parts?? another story!!
good luck with anybody doing any sort of restoration work!!
