Anyone know if there is a Stockton Buggy Run coming up

Hi I haven't been to Stockton beach in a buggy for about 30 years is there a run around coming up. Isn't there usually a get together around November. Curius?:jesus

http://www.klubvwoffroad.org/  is usally where all the dates are along with the Manx Club at http://www.manxclub.org/.  Neither seem to have an event listed. I will email each and see what the go is as I am keen to go myself. If neither want to run an event I will consult with the forum, choose a date and run one myself as I am keen to go back again myself in November to get photos and footage.

Yeah the annual november run is NEXT MONTH! 4th-5th of November, so only 2 weeks away. There will almost definately be a few buggies from Sydney making the trip up so should be able to make the trip up the freeway as a group.

Also normally get together every Easter long weekend so if next month is too soon, Easter could be a good target.

Hel-70Y your buggy should be fine on the dunes. Just make sure you have really good air filters or some outer covers over them.

Have you got Clarkey's number? you could go in his convoy.

Yep This coming weekend.

I have posted the below in the 2006 thread.

Keen to test run or maybe catch up with forum friends or just considering betting into Buggies or a Baja.
A group of Boys and their toys will be gathering at Stockton this coming weekend the 10th (Fri) to the 12th of November.

http://www.sharpbuilt.com.au/09.jpg

Most will be camping on the Beach (See link below) but for the girly types there a caravan park up the road at Stockton. Most drivers will be arriving Friday afternoon / night at the camping area. If you are arriving Saturday morning and have never been into Stockton meet at the Metro at 10am (Smoko- Hot Pie time) and some drivers will rendezvous with you and lead to where the others are.

My contact number is 0411 444 334. Bring your UHF, I think we will be on Channel 26 as mobile reception is scattered between the dunes.

The Camp:

Buggy Adventures Discussion:
http://buggyadventures.com.au/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6  and
http://buggyadventures.com.au/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11

Please post your interest if your coming so we can estimate numbers. This is not a club organised event as far as I know, just a gathering.
