[FS - VIC] 1976 Beetle (the Last & "The Best" - so some say)
Gotta love the '76. Free bump, good luck with the sale. I reckon a good one of these is rarer than an oval these days.

Unfortunately the ones I see have been truly abused. Looks good in white. Two sets of blinkers ? did you replace the 'guards ?

Sorry, had to go B4 finished last message. Haven't got any more photos handy. Ahem, don't own a digital photograph-producing apparatus! (Hides
under table.)
Interior is all original. Light Tan ("Champagne" someone told me it's called) vinyl is all in very good cond. including front seats. Dash is good
but has a repaired section, original charcoal carpets = good, rubber mats ditto. Headliner has one tear above parcel shelf & some light stainer
(possibly had a smoking owner). Original steering wheel. Original speedo (professionally rebuilt within last year). |

Saw the car today, with the price tag of $4475. Very clean looking bug. Also know Mark who has done some of the work on it. He is very good.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, and in good condition- but rather tossed in sideways - Beer in one
hand - chocolate in the other - body totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"

For the price that ACE is asking, you would be getting alot of car. It has been religiously looked after and maintained. If I could extend my funds to
cover the full purchase price, I'd buy it (although my wife probably wouldn't talk to me(until she drove it!!)).
The bigger car ACE bought was a Type 3 wagon, so he is a person who has a pashion for veebubs.
You can tell that this car hasn't been abused, as it hasn't got that tired look of some bugs people are trying to sell for the same amount of
money.
In the current condition, I'm sure it would win a prize for best presented daily driver, and I'm sure Mark from Imported would vouch for that.
Besides from all that, BUMP!

Tofu, I think this thread has an issue since the forum crash. This thread was started by ACE_76, and he has the '76 beetle for sale, so you might
want to send him a U2U.

For those who are curious, ACE dosen't have a digital camera. The car is well worth a look, and the drive there is pleasant, through the dandenong
ranges, behind Belgrave/Olinda ways...
BUMP again!!

Checking
Hello VWCOOL,
Have you still got the 76 Beetle for sale if so can we speak I would love to find out all about it and i am not a dreamer or a tyre kicker just in

would have to sell the house and family for.Anyway there is one out there with my name on it some where.
If you like to send me your phone i can call or mine is 03 97821226 Rick Kubala.
Thanks
Super Dubba
