i'm not having a go at you empi but here's the reality of the situation by the time you add into the deal a linkage kit $220 k&n filters $100 syncronizing tool $60 + inlet manifolds $100 the $275 for the carbs becomes indeed the cheap part but the complete package blows out to $755 and thats if their jetted right. oh and maybe they need a carby rebuild kit put through them which is another $110 so all up $865!!! if you have that sort of money to muck around with then its ok but many people don't. most 36mm idf webers came as original equipment on 1979 to 1983 alfasud sprints and they where jetted a little on the rich side they usually came with 32 mm chokes 145 mains f57 emulsion tube 235 airs and 50 idles at least thats whats in the set i've got, i'm about to put them on a stock standard 2litre kombi motor we'll see what happens.
