insurance

G'day to all,

Don't ya' just love it when you want to insure a 30 year old car?! My Kombi will be refurbed in about 3 weeks and seeing I live in an area noted for it's summer hail storms I want it to be insured properly. I have always been with AAMI but when I rang them up they wouldn't insure it comprehensively. Any suggestions for a "good" insurance company? Thanks,
chopper

Yes shannons I have our 56, 58, 62, 71, 73 beetles & my 03 bmw insured through them they love me very cheap probably cause I have so many and I can't drive them all at once as for an example my 56 oval is insured for $9,500 and only cost me around $250. And they are always very helpful.

Well I was going to Shannons,
but for some reason went with the NRMA....
I sent them a heap of photos....

same sort of deal that shannons have....

Yes,
the Main thing I wanted with Insurance was - that I had the salvage rights...
ie.. car is still owned by Me after being written off....

The NRMA Insurance was virtually the same as Shannons..
I just can't find the policy at the moment...
I also have roadside assist with NRMA....
