Shit!!!! Destruction is never good.
But in the big picture........without it, your never going to be able to find the limits of the components & combination.
How much of it is salvageable? Incl. your self machined (more work of art) crank?
My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it. |

That is a great quote, and part of why it failed...looking for where it stopped going faster!
Biggest expense will be new Carrillo rods, and upgrade to dry sump.
Everything else I can make, or buy, with minimal expense, just time.
Crank is saved! (at small 2" journal)
and should be back this week from nitride.

New 5.85" Carrillo rods.
Crank repaired and nitrided thanks to Mark Kilby and Crankshaft engineering.
It is now 2" journal with 92.25mm stroke.
Aaron Roberts welded up the damage on the case for me...bit of mill-time ahead!

Yes, Mac, it was to remove the separate scatter shield,
and give me some more room to work, and help brace the trans case.... but added a bit of weight.
Car was 1872lbs at Jamboree 2016.
Dry sump worked perfectly which was a relief,
but I struggled with fuel tuning, which I will address before Warwick
