Pitman arm, tie rod end spacing
Are all pitman arms created equal? I need to know if the spacing between tie rod end holes is the same on all steering boxes whether they be on link
pin, ball joint or strut beetles.
can anyone help please.

You mean the inner tie rod hole centres? I looked at this to reduce steering lock and bumpsteer etc... No, all different on the ones I've seen. Type3
ones have a third hole for steering damper and I think are a different length, too

yeah thats what I am after. I need to know which pitman arms will my quicksteer bolt up to.
I know there are different size tapers and different size shafts on steering boxes but I thought they would all have the same centres between the tie
rod holes.

I am pretty sure they are all the same, the quicksteer fits early buses also, probably bays too but ive never checked....
Strut beetle is a different setup all together, it has the idler arm etc..
