43 split beetle

I know a guy that has a 43 rhd split beetle in NZ. (Not sure if it was converted as haven't seen it). I think it has been sitting outside under a tree for a few years so is probably pretty rusty.

My question is, what sought of ballpark figure would this be worth?

I am not sure where in NZ or even what condition. I also thougt he may have the year wrong as I wasn't sure they made them then. I may have to ask him some more questions and try to get some photos as well.

Thanks guys

Is it the same one Dave Becker is chasing?

This has never been on the market and the owner had pretty much forgotten about it.
