WTB Type3 (late) Carb bits and price on Front beam
I am after the brass tube indicated by the red arrow in the picture. It is for a 32PDSIT carb. I am also after a working idol solinoid. I wish to get
these two asap as the car am running bad

I am also after a late Type3 front beam in good condition as one of my torsion bars has sagged . I dont have to have the axcels, brakes or steering
box as long as I can bolt my disks on. (Unless good and cheap )
I plan on getting this just after xmas.
Thanks in advance
Jason

Type3 Carb Bits
Hi There,
I am sure you can still get these new for Beetles and they are 99% the same. The are press fit in too.
I saw them last at Volksbahn in Sydney 02 9688 2933
Cheers,
David

Dammit the VW shop here tried to sell me a different shorter one (Probably for a bus) and when I said it was wrong they said the part I wanted was no
longer available.
Any picks of the beam and what sort of condition and price
I am sick of the handling at the moment.
Oh yeah and the two passenger side cyliders seem like they arnt firing properly (Pulled leads little change) Anyone have a pair of good used spark
Plugs? :P Honestly I am getting a little sick of finding things wrong with this car, If I didn't like the shape I would have shot it.

I Bloody knew this would happen!!!
i had a beam for free last week.....
it was in northern NSW tho
http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=58306
they must be very late carbs as they have that POS single idle circuit system like kombis
i've got some 71 carbs on a motor that dont have that or the brass tube in float chanmber (green arrow)
no cut off solenoids either just idle jets

Are you interested in selling them? After xmas I may be able to come up with some money. I dont have that big tube in mine, in fact I thing the actual
photo is of bus carbs (I stole it as I don't have the bit to take a photo of) I HATE the blasted idel control solenoid it is constantly giving me the
shintz.
