What do you think - 71 Superbug?

Hi Guys,
This is the 71 Superbug that I picked up of the internet which cost me $420. I was fumbling around in the back last night and came up with a folder that has every reciept for money spent on it since 1971 till when I bought it...and the original service book complete with all the stamps from the servicing garage. I am pretty happy with it! Engine is good and still goes well too! Two weeks and I commence the rebuild.... I am sure that you will like the graffiti in the background too...

Cheers

Adam :D

Probably gonna be in a dark met blue. Yeah definately going to lower it, that is one thing I hate on the supers - the front end seems to stick up like a honeymooners you know what... and the mag situation has got me stumped because of the stud pattern. Not really sure which way I should go about it - ie lowering and mags!

Chatswood is close - i am at Abbotsford

you really need to decide what wheels you want to run and build the car around that.
Supers and front offsets determine what wheels you can run.
You will have 3 bolt struts and i have 2 bolt.
I have V Force adjustable struts and 16" Porsche Boxster rims.
6" x 195/50 and 7" x 205/55

Sat and rode "really" nice.
Hopefully the new one will be the same.

Have a read at http://www.superbeetlesonly.com  in the tech articles.
LOTS of great information there on getting a super to handle and look "super"

Yogi, I saw your post a few weeks ago asking about wheels I THINK... can't remember. Anyway, I'd be keen to meet up with you, I'm right round the corner in Lane Cove... as if you haven't seen me driving around, I'm in Chatswood all the time! :)

I'd love to help you out (got some great contacts for you) and maybe you can help me out with a few things on mine!

Email me at oppressa@hotmail.com for my phone number so we can meet up.
