water cooled fuel miser recommendations ...

Gotta get a new daily for the NY to slog up and down the F3 from Newcastle to Sydney ... (crap way to live, but it's not forever).

Wanna get something to get me up and back without too much drama. Was thinking Golf or Polo ... don't wanna blow major bucks, as I'm gonna load it with ks, was thinking under 10k for a hack-mobile.

Not sure how many litres to the 100ks I'm gonna see off a petrol watercooled VW. Really don't wanna use my 2.5 Sube, as I know that's a gas guzzler...

Dunno much about the reliability and economy of shopping trolley rides ... all look the same to me, so not buying on 'cool', just want comfortable with air and tight arsed economy.

Recommendations?

I recently drove a Shopping trolley with motor from sydney 2 Maclean North coast on a single tank of fuel. Average speed of 115k's on a 780k trip on and off the gas it performed well liked beeing knocked back two cogs and take off time made me think about fitting one in the old girl(73panelvan). Wanna go down this street???? It's sacrelegious i know but if its a hacker.

89 model ford laser hatch back 1.6ltr and it went. Awersome economy i can only imaginwe how many k's i would have got had i been doing thee speed limit.

Keep the steering and the propulsion seperate . Still a Kombi...

It's all good, until it's bad, i suppose
