Valla!

Are there kids involved? I have a favourite spot at Batehaven. Set up camp just 2 steps off the sand. Kids can play in sand while you sit in the shade. Sheltered water of Batemans Bay, no rips to suck kids away. Cycle ways everywhere. Pelican feeding at pelican point (oddly enough) Bell's fun carnival sets up right next door to the park. Havent been for a couple of years but it used to be $12 unlimited rides. Close enough to Canberra for a day trip. Questacon, cockington green etc. 10 minute drive to Mogo pioneer village, mogo zoo. 1 hour from pigeon house mtn if you're energetic. I havent been but game fishing charters are supposed to be quite productive.

Headed that way on Saturday morning... I hope the forecast is wrong.. othwise I'll have to head south to Moruya and stay with rellos :puke

National Parks campsites tend to have space as you cant book sites. One just outside Forster. Known as 'The Ruins' or 'The Bull Pen'. Other really good site nearby is Treachery Head Campsite. Unsealed road can be interesting! But I go regularly in my 75 Kombi!
