not bad considering it needs no body work.
you could always buy a rusty shitter that's been smacked from every angle and waste $5k on body work.

dont be so sure on that
SA is as bad as qld thanks to the lack of yearly inspections
most of my families there so im over there a bit and trust me there are some absolute rust boxes on the roads
ive looked at daily driven beetles u can watch the road going by thro the heater channels

very true, some good finds there but as many elsewhere.
Still think it is a lot of $$$ just for a body with a hole in the top

totally different kettle of fish......Mines an ongoing project, with a restored pan under it (minus beam) A pillars replaced, front and rear clips
realigned and straightend, all rust removed and repaired, have new ragtop, rag mech is done, all new interior, headliner, carpet. Just about
everything. One person has called about it to offer a swap....I am willing to negotiate for ev erything, but ehhh...No need to sell it, but it hurts
me to see it sitting there doing nothing, as I havent got much time on my hands.....Back to the topic, The white rag is a decent price, and the sea
blue one of 62deluxes was a bargain, but mine was to be a everynut and bolt job...so totally different. The other thing to look at is, how often do
you find factory rags, and even finding a clip and welding it in, lead filled and painted, will cost you more than both of these cars....
Have a great Year all, Nectar
