2L Auto Starter
Can you bolt a 2 litre auto starter up to a 1600 flywheel. I'm currrently doing a suby engine conversion the standard starter was torqueing itself
down and jamming so I was told to put an auto starter in. Now I'm having issues with that, it sounds as though the teeth aren't meshing properly.
Did all starters have the same number/pitch on their teeth?

Hi
You may need a semi auto starter from a 1500 bug or Superbug. Im not sure if 2 litre starter would mesh properly. A semi auto starter can be use to
directly replace the stock manual starter and they are slightly stronger than a manual starter.
