[WTB - NT] [FS - NSW] BEETLE UTE PROJECT *SOLD*

72 convertible beetle Ute project:
Rolling body, no motor.

This car has been registered & driven as a convertaible ute with a Subaru engine in NSW, prior to going off the road. ( last rego paper will be provided)

Short version of along story: I bought the car from the motor car company who built it. Drove it for about two months then took it too a mates panel shop for a “quick respray & change of colour”
After 12 moths in his shop & paying him $5K, he went bankrupt & shot through, this is how I got the car back. & this is how it has sat since.
We all have one VW that’s breaks our heart, this is mine …. When I bought it , it was a killa car, turned heaps of heads, and drove great.

Now it is just a reminder of how I got screwed over, buy a so called friend.

I hate to sell it, but I am moving the new family out of NSW and at this stage can’t really take it with me( wish i could).

http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/58KAFER/vwute1.jpg

http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/58KAFER/vwute4.jpg

http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/58KAFER/vwute3.jpg

http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/58KAFER/vwute5.jpg

http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/58KAFER/vwute6.jpg

So as they say “ my loss can be your gain”, just think what it would take to get a standard beetle to this stage & have it comply to the tuff NSW standards.

You also get the French “le man” gauges , the bucket seats, and any other boxes of stuff I have too go with the car.

I am asking $2000.00 ono.

It had an EA 81 in it last time, my plan was to put in the EJ20t.
it will fit no dramas, as there is plenty of room, dont have an adaptor plate, so you will need one of those.

Oh yeah, where you see the spots of primer, are NOT rust repairs, the old paint job had lots of star's & shapes on it, the primer bits are where they were.

car is SUPER soild.:thumb

Pimp my ute! That's mad! Good luck with your sale. To whomever buys it...you would have time to do it justice before the Nationals in April or just drop a donk in and Rat it...GO hard and Right On! :)
