vwpete. I don't know if this is possible here in WA because I have only thought about it and not made any inquiries.
If you could get your buggy registered as a single axle trailer when its front wheels are in the air you could make it into a sort of Tow'd.
The Tow'd is so called because it was designed to be towed behind a car with its front wheels in the air. There is a tube running from the front of a
Tow'd to the steering wheel. Inside the tube is another tube with a trailer tow bar fitting on it, suitable pins etc. Out comes the inner tube, in go
the pins and Hey! Presto! Done! a Tow'd.
Then you might also need an off road registration and you are sweet. It may be worth investigating that idea. If it works, let us know.

I've just had another idea. I think the Tow'd idea is a bit far fetched.
Get or make a small jinker like the ones that Mobitow use. They are towed behind an ordinary car with the front wheels of the towed car in the air.
It would be easy to wire the buggy to be able to plug its lights into the towing car.
Whether or not you would need a special permit or be allowed to tow only a given vehicle I have no idea, but it's worth investigation. It would be a
lot easier to tow and store at home and I would be cheaper and much more convenient, I'm sure.

Hey Pete,
We build Buggy trailers in single axle form from $750 for light cars, and with Brakes for $1500 and up. The aveage price is about $2500 with tool
boxes and so on.
I also have a guy down south that can custom build a dual axle buggy/car trailer for under $3500
let me know if I can help.

cheers chaps, i like the "use car as trailer idea", which i will have a look at. I am sure i would have to get some sort of permit as the car is not
road registared, but i would preffer to have a actual trailer becuase that way when i break "insert wotever you wish here" i can still just throw it
on the trailer and drive home. On the other hand using the buggy as the trailer would be much lighter, cheaper and way better to tow around
offroad.
chris i was just going to pop by your shop 2day to have a look, but i suppose we can now talk trailer as well.
