[FS - WA] FREE BEETLE IN WA
A yellow 1965 chop top Beetle is available, FREE in Secret Harbour (just North of Mandurah) in Western Australia.
It is said to be in good condition with a white soft top roof, a CD player, good chrome, wide wheels.
It is said to be registered as a convertible. It has 6 months registration.
The engine is buggered and it cannot be driven far without all the oil leaking out. It's definitely a tow or carry it away job.
The owner will give it to VW lover free, as he is going away in two weeks and it must go by then.
Contact Joe Williams on (08) 9524 7233 or 0406 881 469.
I am putting this ad in here for Joe, in my capacity as a WA VW Club committee member. I do not know this vehicle. I have not seen it. Make all
enquiries to Joe.

Because we hope that a little rain and sun on our bald shiny pates will encourage a little growth (forlorn hope).

Too late! It's gone. It went within a couple of hours of being posted. Of course.
It's very frustrationg to be on a club committee and to get that sort of insider information and to be unable to do anything about it, personally,
before it's been widely publicised or the club members have been told about it.
As the WA VW Club's contactee, I'm getting a phone call, about a good deal like that one, every three months or so. It's good to see that cars
like that go to VW lovers, as did this one.
