WANTED retainer spring/heater slide/early btle/


would anybody out there have an early btle (62) retainer spring for the heater slide (left hand side) missing one .
would pay but not sure how much as they r ridiculously small and could get posted in an envelope.

is it in the foot well ?
so get the right hand one and copy it using a coathanger of same wire guage




want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!

they are spring steel ,not mild steel wire so no thats no good , however i may have to make one from piano wire if i cant get a prebent one of the correct dimention's:beer

there are such tough coathangers in the bush TL

made a clip from one for the merc h/light retainer clippy

3 yrs later i changed the serpentine belt and founfd the orig. in the body crevice




want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!
