Kombi torsion bars in beetle??
Someone mentioned that you can fit Kombi torsion bars into a beetle (rear). Is this the case? Be great if it is, as there is a lot more Kombis around
than Type 3 wagons!

torsion bars
They are not all the same, the wagons had thicker ones, I think 23.5 but would have to check. They went as low a 21.5 I think.
Anyway they are differentm measure them to find out for sure. |

Hi Secoh
You can get thicker aftermarket bars for 944s but they might be expensive. You might be better off going coil overs on the rear.
Below is all the Type 3 torsion bar versions. Fastbacks & notches use Beetle size bars.
