Yes, my 914 does have an Ansa Exhaust which was imported also by previous owner, but alas I'm not that gifted to be able to produce a sound clip.

Needless to say, has a very nice tone.........

Addition: The guys from Aporsch-A-Part said they installed a 911 front end in this car before previous owner purchased........would explain the handling!

.....and post 1973 had 5 stud pattern on 914s, but was standard on all 914/6s (914/6 ceased production 1971).

This is a 1972 model with later 5 stud discs fitted with Fuchs.

I can assure you this is an excellent car,I know this because my parents used to own it. The body was immaculate with not a spot of rust before we had it re-sprayed in the original Manila yellow, can't speak for the mechanical condition now but again,it was imaculate at the time.If I wasn't restoring the 56 Ghia right now, I would have bought it. I had a hell of a lot of fun in this car. It's an absolute blast to drive, even better than our 911 or 944! Mid-engined car just kicks-ass!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not exactly sure but imagine they may have had some rust, but they may also have been replaced as part of the full restoration process (was done prior to my purchase of car). Needless to say now, the chassis is spotless :)
