Keeping clean!??!
Not sure if this question has been asked before but....
In the wake of massive water restrictions anyone got any suggestions on best way to clean and keep clean my kombi?
Have resorted to washing her in the rain - get really funny looks from neighbours! They really dont get it!

You could rig up something using a tank, pump and your grey water from the shower. I reckon you could wash it every week no probs and if you do it on
the grass then its getting 3 uses and its legal.

yep, grey waters the go, even a bucket form your washing machine's rinse cycle. inbetween washes or when she's not overly dirty those microfibre
waterless cloths are great, bring the car up nice and shiny and wipe all minor dirt off real well whilst dry or slightly damp.

Waterless cleaning products like "Bowdens Own". Works brilliantly but a bit pricey. $15 odd a bottle, probably 2 to 3 good cleans.
A POSSE AD ESSE.
I live in my own little world, but it's okay, they know me here.

I now wipe my Baja down with a damp cloth using a half bucket of water and a little detergent, every week or so. I start on the glass, then the
interior and the outside and finish with the wheels. I then wipe it down with a damp Chamois which leaves it streak free. If I feel a need to I will
polish it, but I almost never polish a car anyway.
Here in WA we can still use a hose on the lawn, so it gets a pre-wash squirt to wet it, the hose is turned off, the wash happens and it gets another
quick squirt before being Chamoised.

when you turn on the shower and wait for the water to get hot put a bucket to catch the water. There should be plenty there to wash the beast with.

get up early and wipe down with one of those microfibre cloths using the dew and a small bucket of water to rinse cloth. works for me.
Customer service is not dead in Australia.
