There are two type 3 manuals on ebay...
one is a Haynes, which are great manuals...
usually from the UK.... which covers UK & USA models.
and the other one is the VW Bible.... a Bentley type 3 manual from Volkswagen of America....
I recommend both.... I have both for my beetle...
I've had no problems from ebay....
just read the feedback....
if its no good don't buy from them..
but there are many nice people on ebay...
I always ask questions and send emails...

Try the second hand motoring bookshop in Burke Road Camberwell.. I can't remember the exact name and address but it's in the strip of shops near the
corner of cantebury road.
In the worlds before Monkey primal chaos reigned. heaven sought order, but he pheonix can fly only when its feathers are grown. the 4 worlds formed
again and yet again, as the endless aoens weild and passed. Time and the pure essence of heaven and the moisture of the earth all worked upon a
certain rock old as creation. And it became mgically fertile. That first egg was named "Thought". Thathaga Buddha, the father Buddha, said
with our thoughts we make the world. Elemental forces caused the egg to hatch and from it came a stone monkey! The nature of MONKEY WAS
IREPRESSIBLE!!!!! !

Can second the book shop in Camberwell ... and that coming from a QLDer!!!
As you head up hill from the train station it is on the left in a small cluster of shops. The manuals are inside, over to the left about halfway back
in the shop, in a drawer that is down low, possibly the only drawer. He usually has a good stock of them in there.
