Steering wheel bosses
Are the beetle and type 3 steeing colum's the same, splines etc. Thinking of changing my wheel and want to check its the same steering wheel boss.
its probably another stupid question but I dont know and you chaps will....

turns out my 63 bug had a steering wheel on it from a type 3, so must be interchangable.......

In 74 they went to finer spline with a taper, Ovals are different again.
