spring plate length

Hey hey

Are fat chick spring plates (non IRS) the same length as the ones from an early beetle? And therefore, are they compatible?

Cheers

Hi

All type 1 & 3 spring plates have the same outer spline, its the length of the torsion bars that need to match the spring plate is where it varies, also if these spring plates are for a swinger they should fit a swinger depending on torsion bar length.
