How much is an Oval

I'm coming to live in Australia in a few months time (Perth), I've got a VW over here (UK) but theres no way it can come with me.

What sort of price would I be looking at to buy a nice oval for instance.

Not a necessarily showcar but just a really tidy one, nothing wrong with it, good paint-job and sound interior.

I realise theres no fixed price on these things, and your always hoping to get lucky, but just a rough idea of what I'd pay.

Thanks for any help, I'd value as many opinions as possible

ta

There is one in the Melb Trading Post. Owner claims that its original in very good order with no rust and running perfectly. $4,800.

Some where between 4500-10,000, depending on HOW good it is, whether it has a sunroof. If its a 55 and earlier sunroof with a 3 fold, you will probably pay more!!!

There was a bucket of rust not worth a pinch of poop at the Nats on that Trailer for 2,500 I think. There was a fair bit of work to be done for it to go back on the road. I could have been the same on from the VW Forum several months ago.

You would need some Mig experience but it would be saveable. Apparently it runs.
