1954 beetle handbrake cables
hi all
i am in need of two handbrake cables 4 a 1954 beetle
(they are extra long since they go all the way to the frame head)
and since i am probably not able to fork out the cash or even find some i am wondering if someone knew the exact length of them so i can make my own
any help appreciated

if you are making your own - why not just attatch two seperate lengths to the drums - feed it throught the tunnel and cut it to fit?

could it be that simple.....
am i right in thinking that that measurement is from tip to tip or only cable length
without fittiings
