Wanted - 1300 swing axle gearbox

Hello

I am after a core 1300 swing axle box - it should have the longer clutch lever/arm than the earlier boxes, and possibly the guide tube for the throw out bearing.

This would be post 1970 beetle but obviously not the superbug etc - I am after it for a rebuild but the ratios and stronger 3rd and 4th are why I need the 1300 box.

Any help is appreciated.

Alan

Thanks baldy - is there any chance you could check if the g'box has the guide tube for throwout bearing, and/or the longer clutch arm?

I appreciate your help.

Thanks Brad - cheers for that. I won't make you hold it for long, I'll see if anything pops up but if not I'll give you a buzz.

Needs:

Long clutch arm,

Throw-out bearing: slide tube style,

Intermediate housing part number 311 301 173 (NOT, 113 301 173B)

AM code(AH ok if interm hsg p/n is correct)

I am thinking this is Aug '72 on 1300 twinport beetle.
