Nice, at $1562.50 Australian, that's a pretty good deal. Shipping would kill you though. It'd be worth looking into though, considering the mark-ups the VW shops here will put on them, if they ever get them.

Remember duty and other charges too - if freighted to you (through customs etc) they'll end up costing you at least double the actual purchase price....

ahem - if someone could POST em to you one at a time in separate packages you MIGHT err slip em through (not that I am advising anyone to try that *cough cough*).

(Although when I looked at some period hotty rims in the US I was told that US Mail won't actually handle even single rims as they were too large...)

????????????????

Its difficult to get nice rims sold at a reasonable prices OS into Oz for anything near that price........free trade agreement (hey we went to war for it) may help if we canhang on a bit? Meant to go before US congress early next year...

???????????????????

Still pay on 2nd hand (probably have to pay quarantine inspection too then!) gifts area funny area - usually pay too on something of that value? And if you 'underdeclare' by a heap you could lose em....

There were two kinds of radars originally - the sears and the empi - they do look a bit different. The ones coming out of the US are sears copies and the ones out of the UK are empi copies (or vice-versa I can't quite remember its too early in the morning)
