WTD: new type3 Exhaust for 1600 T3wagon wanted plz


hey folks i have a friend who needs a pref NEW exhaust for there type3 wagon, pretty sure its running a 1600, if you know where i can source one from let me know plz. not to fused if its after market but german stock would be nice. any help would be great

I know the receipt with mine said it had been fitted with a Bus exhaust. It has the original heat exchangers and then twin mufflers that exit out the far left and right.. I would recommended that if you went to a new exhaust get them to flange the connections. Mine has the standard ring connection and I have found it a pita to get rid of all the leaks

There are options....
There's the ultimate (rare and expensive) Abarth muffler, the fairly rare German stock muffler, the type 4 muffler conversion, hi-po merged header extractors with hideaway muffler or stinger, the sidewinder merged header and a number of different extractor systems that retain the heater boxes with an even larger array of muffler configurations.
