Yanks often use quarter horses in the dyno figures...

not doubting their figures in any particular instance but always take them with a grain of salt.

thanks mick ive looked over your build and was very impressed most aussies build tough cars but some build j+s's
a big mouth with no brain wouldnt spot the obvious ah what a coincidence here's pete wood you have the audacity to call me "dumbell" in another post lol pmsl
corvair was a flat 6 and did have pistons and a crank
but the similarities pretty much end there
they were air cooled, carburated, had push rods, points, no power ah whats the use you wont understand
your seldom right but you got it wrong again
mate a little company called porsche (you may have heard of them) have been putting v8's in the back of cars for years now ive read your build up thread and its no wonder your car doesnt handle go and take up knitting or something simular that suits your personality seeing that driving takes common sence id bet my left nut you cant drive either bad driver + lousy car = dangerous joke

I agree with the Samba posts that say 327HP is pretty crazy, especially if that is wheel horsepower.

I also think calling it a "supercar" is ridiculous. I've seen a few buggies attempt to go around race tracks before, and they all understeer and handle like crap. Putting a flat 6 in the back isn't going to help the situation.

That's just my thoughts. It's still a cool buggy. :)

that's not very nice. it's not my fault if I can't spell.

There was so much chrome all over that manxter it's hard to see through the glare how many sparkplug leads there are.

BTW, have you driven an EJ equipped buggy? THe EJ is about twice the weight of a type one, and a type 1 makes buggies tail heavy. I've got a few mates who used turning brakes to get beetle powered buggies to go round corners...ON TARMAC.

Now, from one audacious big mouth to another, can we have a look at your buggy please? Only fair if you're going to pass judgment on mine that I'm offered the same opportunity.

[ Edited on 4-4-07 by pete wood ]

...and we're still waiting. Seems like Dubbill's buggy is imaginary. What a surprise. :o
