What oil pressure ?


Any ideas on the normal oil pressure range for a Type 1600 tp ?

Depends on the type of oil you are using.

At the moment I'm using Fuchs Titan formula 60 which is a 25W60 oil.. On start uo the pressure gets upto 350kPa when cold. This is about as high as it can get as the oil relief valve is set at around this pressure. When hot the pressure sits around 100-150kPa when idling.

Thanks - just trying to replace an old stuffed OP gauge which goes up to 500 kpa, which I though was a bit excessive.
