WTB - ROOF RACK FOOT please help
Hi anyone/everyone....
picked up a roof rack on the weekend for my type3, but its missing one of the four gutter mounts or feet. I have heard they aren't impossible to get,
but thought I'd start here and see if anyone had a spare.....
any leads appreciated.
cheers

thanks for the very quick replies....
the part I'm after is a bent metal 16mm diameter rod - total length is 38 cm. (90degree bend)
This slides into the bottom of the cage/rack on an old school roof rack - it has one bolt in the end of the clamp for the gutter and a rubber strip to
protect the gutter.... is this what you can get at Clark Rubber VWCOOL and Cal68 or just the rubber bit?!?!
Will try and learn how to upload photos asap....
cheers again all.

Oh, I and others thought you were after the 'suction cup' shaped feet used on many old-skool racks.
If it's metal, make it. If you can't make it, have it made. Easy

Go to a commercial vehicle wrecker. Alot ot their cars come in with ladder racks etc. See if you can get one and hack it up. That is what I used for
mine.
