Last days for the graveyard to be cleared!!!

G'day,
It's definitely happening this time!!!

3 years ago it got too hard to clear it all so we decided to keep our 22 acre property, "EUCALYPT PARK" "Old Volks Home", just north of Bendigo and Rhett (PHATBUG) looked after it while we traveled and worked in remote WA and NT for almost 3 years (travelling in the Desert Splitty).

There's still heaps of beetle wrecks (approx 30 cars), some Type 3s and a few Bays. No Splitties apart from the one with no front which has a good roof and sides.

Check out pics on PHATBUGS thread: http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=60369

The only problem is that I don't have time to pull stuff apart and send off etc. so it is a pic-a-part deal, you come, find stuff, we negotiate (in your favor) and you go away happy.

I had a srap metal bloke come Saturday (he got very excited when I told him there was approx 40-50 cars to go) and he has offered me a very good tonnage price but I told him I want 3 more weeks to give people a last opportunity to get stuff.

I don't have a lot of time to get on here but will endevour to reply when I can, otherwise contact Rhett.

Cheers, Ian.

Hey there - I'd really love to come up but with Easter this weekend and next weekend I'm in Tassie for 4 days, would the following weekend be too late??

I'd particularly like to look at whatever type 3 stuff is left, early or late I don't mind.
Thats not to say I wouldn't look at bug stuff too.

I'm only just getting back into the VW thing, so bit of a learning curve for me.... just don't like the idea of seeing that much stuff go to a scrapper.

I assume you are flat out - but can you tell me what T3s are left

and providing payment is made how soon would you need whole cars moved?!?

sorry for all the questions..... cheers Ben

.
