[WTB - QLD] Wanted - Razor-Edge Ghia

I am looking for an early style (sloping bonnet) Type 3 Variant / Squareback. Prefer late 60s to early 60s model (ie discs on front - 4 stud) but it's tough enough trying to find a Squary in the first place, let alone being picky about what year :-)

Paintwork is not important (shiny would be nice, red would be great!) but mechanics and solid bodywork / chassis are important. I live near Brisbane (north side) and can arrange transport for an out of state vehicle that is in transportable form (ie brakes work and vehicle drives enough to load onto trailer and doesn't leak huge amounts of oil or petrol). I don't want a wreck - this is for daily use and I would prefer something that is or was recently registered. I can drive back from northern NSW or as far north as Bundaberg in QLD, west to Toowoomba.

No late models please. No Notches or Fastbacks either - not enough room for my needs - sorry.

Please send any info and pics to paulandgill99@hotmail.com

Vehicle should be able to be registered ie pass QLD roadworthy with little work - hopefully. But please, let me know what you've got anyway as you may well convince me to buy your VW.

Thanks.

Paul.

Thank you to all those that got in touch.

After some serious re-thinking (with the wife's input) we've decided not to get an early Squareback but rather a Type 3 razor-edge Ghia. She love's them, and I'm quite partial too. Practicality has certainly gone out of the window...

So if anyone out their is thinking of selling their razor-edge please get in touch. This is a serious offer to buy a T34 Ghia. Send photos and info to paulandgill99@hotmail.com

Cheers.

Paul.
