hey paul... baja is going sweet... engine and tranny in what i would say near 100% tuned... (carby choke needs adjusting, have to leave foot on the
accelerator slighly to let the car warm up before she idles by herself at a non-ugly rpm speed...) but otherwise... shes great.
Panel work is getting there... both a pillars been welded up and done.... just tidying... Gotta chuck in some fender bolts... weld a plate under a
sill and walla.... :P
Brakes are good... steering appears to be fine, just gotta do upholstery, barwork, finish off the very small amount of panel work, replace tread (one
tyre really), a few small 5 minute touch ups here and there and i think she might be ready...
prob is upholstery and barwork is the expensive part... but a full time job is coming up VERY soon so dough shouldn't be an issue no longer. Gonna
inquire with some small old timer engineering shops locally for quotes on them to bend and weld some basic barwork, be cheaper i rekon and i'm sure
the guys there would love to have a tinker with the car...

not to bad,my daughters beetle looks like this now will be buffing it this week hopefully then all it needs is the interior or mainly the front seats
