New blood
Hey peoples, after owning various old cars over the years, mostly along the lines of mild kustoms and over the last few years building a 1927 T
roadster rat. Anyway after losing interest in the 27 i happened to start looking at rat style vw's (was originally after an early square.... thanks
caffienepusherman) but after going to the jambo i really started appreciating bugs a lot more. To cut a long story short i saw hertz's 64 for sale
and had to have it, was just down the road as well. fate i reckon. I feel like a bit of a slacker not having done all the hard work but i have plenty
more plans for it, dont worry shiney paint and big rims are not happening. i hope to meet some of you guys sometime soon.

Thanks guys, that would be really cool maybe we can organize something when Josh gets back. Cheers for the positive feedback I'll post some pics
soon, still thinking about paint, brush/rattlecan? probably flat dirty green w/redwalls and got something planned for the doors too.
Only driven a couple of times down the street, would you believe a guy stopped me to ask if i'd be interested in being in an article in the drive
section of the Age, told him i could'nt take credit for the car and he went on his way..... classic.
