I hope the people who did it get their karma back to them... idealy in the form of an extremely reinforced front bug ramming into the back of their
car while they are in it
I hope that its not too exy to fix |

I'd door knock the neighbourhood which would be an appropiate responce for the police to do if they wern't understaffed and fatarsed from
manning speed cameras. They should have at least checked into parties in the area. Your paint is a fairly unique colour and dammage like that would be
like a finger print. Blow up your pic, offer a reward and send it out to 100 panel beaters in a 50km radius. In the next month or so they will have
your offender looking for quotes. Door knock the neighbourhood for parties and notify the police to enquire further if you find a party nearby was on
that night so they can investigate who left at that time.
It bullshit that they can do nothing - your just not a priority thats all.

I had this dumb prick from a kitchen building place (new image kitchens) run into me at the Kawana shopping centre. We were in the car at the time
too. We called to cops and they said that since we were in a car park of a shopping centre that there was nothing that we could do. Even though they
had him charged for driving unlicenced because of the accident.
So fish if you ever see anyone from that company you now know that there boss is a bug hater!!!!

I took my old 63 to a servo for some elec. work. Mechanic smacked into a post and then parked it so I wouldn't notice. I did however notice and
after some harsh words he eventually owned and payed up.
But wait theres more, my beloved '63 was not long after stolen and after spending over $2000 dollars just on engine mods The f#$%ing insurance
co. were good enough to give me $700 because that was market value.:cussing:cussing
But don't worry because the service station went bust and I now have my '69 and a whole lot more experience. |

Analysis......
This sucks big time. By looking at the pattern of the crumple on the right rear fender, would you agree that it was a 4WD with big nobbly tires - like
Yokohama Dessert Duelers or something similar? As there seems to be a tire type pattern there. I know it's not much, but it may help you narrow
down who you get to tip brake fluid on.
Squiz....

noticed that too squiz and agree, and a low bull bar/nudge bar involved maybe
not a stupid idea to go and check the neighbours out
go for a cruise around the local blocks and try and find the offender !
THEN ! - buy 6 packets of sparklers, keep 3 seperate sparklers in-tact. Break the other sparklers up so the material comes off the metal rods. make 3
seperate equal piles of sparkler materail. Get tin foil sheets from kitchen and fold in half, form it into a cup, put each amount into each cup. Kept
hole sparklers are a fuse. Pop it on the roof, bonnet and rubber seal, front window. Light the fuses and run ! heel will understand your pain !
THERE AINT NOTHING LIKE REVENGE !
Just make sure its the right car !

:sandrine
hi,
Been reading what happened to your son's Bug (nice bug too I might add).
Sorry to hear about what happened to it.
Can you tell us if any progress has been made to find the @!$%$#^&* idiot who did this.
Having a bug myself I would love to know who it is, as I will make sure I'm not in his
neighbourhood at any time.
I hope you get this guy, following all the leads the guys here have given you, lets hope we have a happy ending to this.
Our good wishes are with you my friend,
& hope you have many "happy" moments
in your bug to come.
Remember we are all with you.

Rhett here, thanks for all your support guys and girls its really appreciated.
Unfortunately there has been no luck finding the culprit, but we followed up all the leads you guys have suggested, thanks. Ive decided not to waste
any more time worrying about it and have already stripped the car down, repaired it and preparing it for paint (hopefully wednesday). Look out for the
new look PHATVW later in the week.
Hey Kustom what about an Oildrippers run to hanging rock on the 25th??
Thanks again everybody, peace out

Hi Kol,
Country Buggy stuff not for sale at the moment, besides I've only got one complete front end although I plan to build another one using a Beetle
beam and Barndoor Kombi front spindles and brakes.
