WTD...Vanagon ignition parts

I am chasing some ignition parts from a 1.9litre Wasser Boxer Vanagon engine. (I think)

Bosch PN :
0 237 022 045

VW PN :
025 905 205K

The Module should be a Bosch : 1 227 022 008 .

I know nothing about these engines I am just wanting to fit it to my beetle. This setup will be the same as Dave Butlers tried and proven setup. I'm over points.

send u2u, reply to post or email stanley111@optusnet.com.au

Cheers all

if you have no luck, there are aftermarket kits around... the compufire kit is pretty cheap at $100... once you go pointless you will never go back 2 points.

If it matters, Im using a Pertronix 2 trigger and Pertronic Flamethrower coil in my Vee. The Pertronix 2 employs "smart" dwell control for optimum performance. Fires a fixed gap 2.4mm plug perfectly.Very happy with it.
Pertronix 1 is a fixed dwell, or "dumb" trigger but seem to work OK as well.

Im not a complete idiot, quite a few parts are missing....
