I reckon it was moving pretty damn fast. theres some decent chassis crumpling happening in there. Its not too real world a collsision either. Most
dont slam into immovable objects. The simple lesson learnt here is to always slam into something small with plenty of crumple zones. I recommend
Hyundais and Daewoos.

this test was NOT to test the vw but to test the test equipment!! there was 1ton of concrete in the rear tray, and the van was doing about 100kmh. as
you can see all the tset equipment was not too badly damaged! note that there were no "dummies" in the vw, or any sensitive test or photo equipment
