max streetable compression ??


what is your experience with max streetable (daily driven)compression for a stroker motor, long duration cam 306-deg, good heads etc... running premium unleaded.

I am hoping to go to 9:1.....????

I think Cal-com and most people engine builders agree 8.5 is probably the best for street due to the requirements of day to day traffic. Try getting caught in a traffic jam with a high comp motor and see what happens.$$$$$$ my2c

Heres what i found in my research on STF,according to Mr Connelly.
7.0 stock
8.0 engle 100 /scat c-25
8.25/8.5 engle 110/web 163/scat c-35
9.0 engle 120
9.5 engle 125/web 86b
10.0 engle 130/web 86c
Orrrr,you could just ask dangerous Dave,like i did.:P
