just picked this up last night, 1968 bug, nice and clean, just about the least amount of rust ive seen on any bug of this model, not entirely sure
what is in store for it yet, hoping to convince the old man that he wants to drive a bug again (i cant really afford 2 cars on teh road for myself n
theres no way im getin rid of the 122S any time soon)

hehe, didnt say NO rust, is a tiny bit in the bottom corner where the guard once was, a little under the windscreen and a couple of bubbles in the
spare wheel well, but thats it! around the back window is perfectly solid, which you never see on these bugs.

i dont believe it, the damn thing runs! bought it being told the clutch was stuffed and the motor probably doesnt run, well it seems the clutch cable
is broken or disconnected, but i chucked a spare battery in today, checked the oil (thick but there) turned it over, fired up 3rd attempt, ran fairly
damn smooth (impressive since the petrol is so old its the came colour as the oil!)
