Front brake plate problem

Hi

I am trying to remove the passenger side front brake plate but have hit a problem. I have removed the brake drum but there is a roller bearing attched to the spindle.

There was an outer roller on the spindle which came off easily with the drum but the inner roller will not come off, this is preventing the brake plate coming off.

Strange thing is that the drivers side spindle did not have an inner roller, so the brake plate came off easily over the spindle.

How do I remove the inner roller bearing? I cannot see how it will come off the spindle?

Slide hammer with a hook is the easiest, otherwise a hammer and long chisel carefully, possible you might damage it if not really careful.
Clean up the spindle with some 120 grit sand paper or something to prevent the bearing siezing on there again...
