Aussie Beetle Convertible Roof Store?
I am trying to source a vinyl roof for a 1975 VW Beetle. I have seen some online from the states but the rear side windows are glass and the current
roof has plastic side windows sewn in.
Does anyone know of a local source for convertible VW roofs?
Thanks |

You could try Brad, (65busser)
He's just started a new business, he is a member here too, but you can check out his post over on the DSK site for some pics of his workshop etc.
Looks like he should be able to make one if he had yours to copy off.

I am assuming your beetle is a "chop top"?? convertible
I would think you need an upholsterer to custom make you one

Yeah, the same places that do tops for boats, should be a fair few around.

yep unlike the factory-built Karmann Cabriolets, the chop-tops are different shapes and sizes depending on who was swinging the grinder. An
automotive/marine trimmer will be able to make a new one up easy :thumb
