Dropped Spindles

Is there a "standard" for dropped spindles or can you get them altered for any height? i want to drop my 66 van about 2 inches but i have heard that they need to be 3 to 3 1\2 which is a little too much for me. Why do my back wheels hang out at the top (is this because when a load is carried they straighten up?) and how do I get them so they are perpendicular to the road? any help always appreciated Andy L

Where abouts are you located. ?????

You need to find someone who can alter the torsion bars in the rear end
and replace all the rubber bushing as well.
