Hi wiseoldub, I am interested in the 1800 engine. I see you have mentioned it is in good condition, is there any other info you can provide - eg. does it blow any smoke? Is it idling okay? All ancillary stuff still in place (ie. not missing bits)? etc

cheers for your help
Alan

its coming to my place this weekend where i will run it for myself at length , but the mechanic that we take our gear from my business to, says that when he looked at it at chrissy for a rego check, it only got refused due to rust and that the mechanicals were all in good working order!!
i can't use the engine , but i will probably use the gearbox and starter and flywheel. the rest is surplus.
its got hotwire mags, good pop top, bullbar, camper interior with fridge and cooker reasonable door cards and of coarse rust!
all at crazy prices, so rush in for a bargain!!!
cheers , big kev

Thanks big kev - I am on the gold coast - do you think I could possibly come and have a look at some stage to check the engine over?
Cheers
Alan

no worries alan , but this weekend is out as i could not get the car trailer. might get it during the week!

pop top is good, blue in colour and strong vinyl, much better than the one on my old camper, and i will get pix as soon as it lands! no idea how to get it to melburg, but i got a guy interested in the 1800 if i can get it down there so maybe you two wanna share freight some how?
cheers josh
